Galaxy A8 Star inches closer to launch with Wi-Fi certification

There have been many leaks in the recent past about an unannounced Samsung smartphone with model number SM-G885. Co-ordinate to reports, the device will probably launch as the Galaxy A8 Star in the most future. Giving some credence to these rumors, the device was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website concluding week with the Milky way A Star moniker. Whether it volition launch equally the Galaxy A Star or Galaxy A8 Star is not yet confirmed, merely for now, all the bets are on the latter.

An upgraded Milky way A8+ (2018)?

The same model has now been spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance website with the device undergoing Wi-Fi certification. As expected, the certification doesn't reveal much about the device other than the confirming fact that it volition launch with Android viii.0 Oreo onboard. The Galaxy A8 Star undergoing various certifications also indicates that the official launch is not too far.

Initially, the device was believed to be a high-end offering with Galaxy S9+ specs, but the after leaks pointed to an upgraded iteration of the Galaxy A8+ (2018) instead.
